Themed Works
Visual Expressions
I love creating visual experiences from things that exist in the unseen. From emotions to memories and every invisible thing in between, I aim to create a visual language that communicates the uncommunicative.

I consider the experience of human emotions to be a beautiful thing, these works visually depict the experience of emotions using nature as a universal medium. My use of color, composition, media, and subject matter aim to visually immerse the viewer into the feeling of experiencing that particular emotion. The diorama is created from a specific memory I have as a child; by drenching the project in color, my goal is to submerge the viewer into my memories and emotions associated with that memory.
Mental disorders go unseen by those who don't have to deal closely with them, either in themselves or with a loved one. Through this series, I shed light on a few mental disorders that are swept under the rug and forgot about by those not actively dealing with them. I purposely combine charcoal with colored pencil to demonstrate how these mental disorders clash with our human nature, but for those who deal with them, it is necessary to find a way to make the two work harmoniously.
